SECOND PHASE OF THE PATINA (DARKEN THE GOLD)
This video shows the dark shellac: we melted black powder inside it to obtain a dark solution. It's good to age and darkens the bright gilded surface of reproduction frames.

TWO WORKING PHASES
The patina is characterized by two working phases. Here we are explaining the second phase, the one related to the shellac. For details on the first phase, follow the link: https://youtu.be/lkO0KFi_0hE

PREPARATION OF THE SHELLAC
Shellac is made of natural resins soluble in 99.9 ° pure alcohol. Mixed with black powder becomes very dark.
