When it comes to fishing sometimes you need to have a backup plan and this day we had to resort to that. My buddy and I originally set out to try for mangrove snapper and cobia at some offshore rigs but I believe the water was so clear we simply could not get them to eat even the most lively baits we had using 30lb flour leader...so we opted to go bottom fishing for the rest of the day and caught some really interesting fish and even caught a bonus fish on the way back home!
