I took out my paddle board for a simple ultralight fishing trip with a goal of catching whatever bites. In this video, I strictly used 5lb Power Pro braided fishing line. This is the braid that all started it for me when it comes to finesse bass fishing, and quite honestly, it is a pretty good option for ultralight anglers. I would be lying if I said it is the best, but it does a pretty good job. Biggest complaint is that it isn't quite as smooth as other higher end models such as Phenix Iron Feather, Spro Finesse Braid, Daiwa J Braid X8, etc. The rougher feeling of the line leads to lesser casting distance with true ultralight equipment. It would work just fine if you prefer to use larger lures though.
