Convert Napoleon Phantom P500: Convert gas grill to 220V power supply

In this video I show you how to convert my Napoleon PHANTOM P500 gas barbecue to an external 220V power supply. I no longer need batteries for the lighting and electric ignition. The conversion can be reversed at any time.

My Napoleon PHANTOM Prestige 500 gas barbecue requires a battery box with three 1.5V β€œD” batteries for the electronic ignition and lighting. As I am permanently integrating the barbecue into my outdoor kitchen, I want to supply it with power permanently via a socket. I am therefore converting the barbecue to a 220V (alternatively 110V) external power source.

In this video, I explain step by step how I carry out this conversion and show you the successful test after the conversion. This conversion also works with other gas barbecues, as long as the correct voltage is taken into account.
