it seems like hobbies are hard to come by and people are finding niche ones. It's interesting to see how former "nerdy" hobbies become not and actually popular. I focused on reading and anime but there has been a lot of these over the years and it's only going to continue to happen i think. people clearly need ideas and things to call their own.
