As a recreation therapist, it is my job to help others find fulfilling hobbies and leisure activities to increase their mental wellbeing while also reducing boredom. But even as a recreation and leisure professional - I still sometimes struggle to find balance in my life by making time to engage in leisure pursuits.

That’s why I created a video of 8 hobby ideas that I recently started to engage in as inspiration just incase you are needing some extra encouragement right now :)

Chapters:
0:00 Intro
1:02 Why engage in hobbies
1:57 Reading
3:41 Nature walk (Hiking)
5:11 Biking
6:16 Baking
7:19 Start a blog
8:16 Take an online course
9:06 Be a local tourist
10:26 Make a vision board

We could all use a little more self-care time right? Well what if you were able to achieve that while also getting your continued education units for the year? Check out my NEW online course - The Flourishing Recreation Therapist - https://growthroughflow.thinkific.com/courses/TheFlourishingRT
