A day of cosy hobbies in my Scottish cottage vlog

Hello, I’m Caroline, I live in the Isle of Skye and welcome to my Youtube channel.

Join me for a cosy day at home doing a some hobbies that light me up!

Tattie scone recipe:

500g peeled and cooked potatoes
50g butter
1tsp salt
100g plain flour
Pinch of baking powder

1. Mash the potatoes with the butter whilst the potatoes are still hot, then add the salt.

2. Mix the baking powder with the flour and work as much of this into the potatoes to make a pliable dough.

3. Make 4 balls of dough and roll out each one thinly. Cut each circle into 4 pieces.

4. Place the tattie scones on a hot griddle and cook for 3 minutes each side.

5. Leave to cool in a folded tea towel.
