We’re told it’s rest, it’s healing, it’s “for you”… but somehow we always end up with a cart full of stuff and a growing sense of burnout.
In this video, I’m breaking down the aesthetic hobby spiral. How something that was supposed to be life-giving started to feel like another performance for the algorithm — and another way to spend money. Hobbies are good and necessary, but we need to talk about when they become more about consumption than joy.
