In this week’s episode we cover:

1. Yarns for TRAVEL SHELL suitable for Florida

2. hello! I’m working on your Traveler and have noticed my cast-on is too tight. I’m well into the pattern and the body circumference seems to fit great. I don’t want to frog!! can you suggest methods for re-working the cast-on? could I pull back the bottom ribbing and somehow add some extra stitches and/or use larger needle to bind-off a new hem? thanks.

3. I have recently converted to magic loop for sock knitting and it has made sock knitting so much more enjoyable for me! I have a question about magic loop for knitting sleeves. Is that an option. Can I use my chiaogoo needles for that? If so what cord length would you recommend? What is your preferred method for knitting sweater sleeves? I’ve always used double pointed needles but am intrigued by the thought of using magic loop if possible. Thank you so much!!

4. Hi there! I am currently knitting a sweater. The pattern wants me to duplicate stich a pattern onto the sweater once I am done knitting. Should I block the sweater before and then duplicate stich or should I duplicate stich before blocking? I feel like there are pros and cons to both.. Or should I block it twice so the knit stitches relax as well as the duplicate stitches? Really hoping for your help! All the best all the way from Germany ✨

5. Hi Andrea, Even though I’m not a spinner I’m intrigued about the fleece you bought at NY Sheep and Wool Festival. My question is what is the process you need to go through to get the fleece ready to spin? Have a wonderful day!

6. Not gonna lie, I am new to spinning and totally jumped in two feet first. I have been finding so much help from your videos, books, youtube videos, etc. As a visual learner, I have been hoping to find better videos for seeing the different drafting styles- forward draft, supported long draw, etc. Do you have any visual resources to help learn this better to become a more consistent spinner? Thanks so much, you've inspired me to grow as a knitter and spinner!
