You may have seen bits and pieces of this project in my short videos, and now that it's finally done I can share all the details and how I ended up knitting a reproduction of a historical colorwork sweater vest, that changed the history of knitting in fashion.
The book mentioned in the video is Folk Vests: 25 Knitting Patterns & Tales From Around the World (Folk Knitting series) by Cheryl Oberle
Here is a link to a second hand copy, this book is out of print: https://www.abebooks.com/servlet/BookDetailsPL?bi=31760470391&dest=usa&ref_=ps_ggl_18382194370&cm_mmc=ggl-_-US_Shopp_Trade0to10-_-product_id=COM9781931499149USED-_-keyword=&gclid=CjwKCAiAlcyuBhBnEiwAOGZ2SxgoYC1tT1RNixUwj3TdT-POBxn7eYFtTWQ0mbxI9v3FvtUaZlXTuxoC9gUQAvD_BwE
