Running my collectibles shop is harder than it looks.
In this Pop Fun To Play shop video, I’m back inside the store cleaning, sorting, fixing sections, and talking about the stress of running the shop while also trying to make videos. I also ask viewers to leave questions so I can have more topics to talk about in future shop videos while I work.
I jump back to footage from the previous week where I cleaned up the trading cards in the front of the shop, then I fix up the Pokémon cards after they got messed up again. Mike Carbo also pops in for a quick moment, and I talk about a comic haul I bought from him that I’ll be showing next week on the Pop Comics channel.
I also talk about doing a Whatnot show to help raise funds for the Queens Comic Party show coming up this weekend. Use this referral link to sign up to whatnot https://whatnot.com/invite/popfuntoplay
Then I do a deeper sort through the cassette tapes and talk more about running the shop, why it can be difficult these days, and what I still want to accomplish with PopFuzz and Pop Fun To Play.
At the end of the video, I added my Pop Walks comic collecting story because I thought it was a fun video and not everyone saw it. It connects back to the bigger story of collecting comics, running the shop, making videos, and trying to keep everything moving.
If you enjoy collectibles, comic books, Pokémon cards, trading cards, cassette tapes, records, vintage toys, shop cleanup videos, small business talk, PopFuzz, Pop Fun To Play, and behind-the-scenes store updates, this is another real-life look inside the shop.
Thanks for watching and hanging out while I keep working on the store.
