In this video, I show you how I build the base of my new outdoor kitchen with YTONG aerated concrete blocks. The bricks are placed on a masonry block, accurately aligned and glued with special adhesive from the second row onwards.
The gabion terrace that I created a few years ago is being converted into a modern outdoor kitchen. My Napoleon Phantom P500 gas grill will be the centerpiece of the outdoor kitchen, but the sink, refrigerator and entertainment technology will also be integrated. In this video series, I follow the construction phases step by step.
π¨ No. 2: Building walls with aerated concrete | Building the base with YTONG The foundation is in place and I start laying the first row of bricks for the base of the outdoor kitchen. I use aerated concrete blocks (YTONG) for this, which are laid in mortar and precisely aligned. From the second row onwards, I glue the bricks together. In the video, I show the individual work steps in detail and give useful tips.
