Sandown Model Railways & Hobbies Exhibition Sandown Train and Hobby Show 2023 - Part 2 Model Railway Exhibitions
Hello all, Welcome to another model railway exhibition video. Today we continue our coverage of this year's Sandown Train and Hobby Show. We begin with the remaining model railway layouts in the main hall and progress outside to the radio controlled displays on offer. The Sandown Train and Hobby Show is an annual exhibition held at Sandown Racecourse. Formerly known as the Sandown Model Railway Exhibition, it was the largest dedicated model railway exhibition in Victoria until it was overtaken by the Australian Model Railway Association's Caulfield Exhibition.
This year's exhibition had three areas. The main hall featured model railway displays and traders. Outside, a range of radio controlled trucks, tanks and boats were being showcased. The top grandstand was broken into two rooms, one covering the arts and crafts area and the other a mixture of RC aircraft and retro displays. This video is the second and final part of our overview of the exhibition. We primarily cover the model railway components, however we also have a bit of a look at what else is on offer. Unfortunately, we missed out on capturing two layouts, these being Circus and Billabong Flat, and the whole arts and crafts area, as well as some of the retro stuff due to recording difficulties.

The Sandown Toy & Hobby Show is an annual exhibition, usually on Victoria's Labour Day long weekend. It is held at the Sandown Racecourse and over the years has been expanding into areas other than model railways.
