After spending the some time this spring photographing wildlife throughout Yellowstone with the OM SYSTEM OM-1 Mark II and several of their lenses, I've solidified my perspective on Micro Four Thirds.

For years, wildlife photographers have raved about the format, especially bird photographers. Between the incredible reach, compact size, lightweight lenses, fast burst rates, pro capture, and stabilization, it's easy to see why.

In this video, I break down the real-world advantages and drawbacks of Micro Four Thirds after extensive field use in Yellowstone. From photographing bison, elk, foxes, bears, and birds, to testing portability, low light performance, image quality, depth of field, autofocus, stabilization, and overall usability in the field, this system challenged many of my deeply held beliefs on cameras lol.

So, is Micro Four Thirds the ultimate wildlife photography hack?
